Bearing inserts The various inserts of SNR ball bearing units are determined by the initial letters (e.g., “UC”) UC 205 Detailed information about the different designs can be found on page 16 and 17. The first digit describes the diameter series (200 or 300) UC 2 05 The last two digits define the bore. The digits are 1/5 of the bore diameter (e.g., “04” = 20 mm, “06” = 30 mm). An exception to this are the smaller bore dia- meters of 12 to 17 mm. UC2 05 inch dimension series The last two digits are a code for the bore diameter in inches. Exact specifications for dia- meter can be found in the dimension tables for bearing inserts starting on page 160. UC205- 16 Designation scheme General SNR Industry 6 Ball bearing units SNR ball bearing units are defined by the insert, housing type, and shaft diameter. The insert is described first for SNR ball bearing unit designations (e.g., “UC”). UC P205 Next is the specification of the housing type (e.g., “P”). UC P 205 The first digit describes the diameter series (200 or 300) UCP 2 05 Finally, the code gives the necessary information about the shaft diameter (e.g., “205” = 25 mm shaft diameter).
