The Stairway/Platform System uses Profile 6 D30 as a weight-optimised barrier for this application. The Knee-Rail Angle Fastener, which is screw-attached to the end face of a knee-rail and the groove on a stanchion, holds knee-rails securely in place on the stanchions. The integrated joint in the fastener also means knee-rails can be built to match any stairway pitch or installed horizontally on platforms.
